From our professional point of view, there is no real definition to divide the giant helium advertising balloon for outdoor use or indoor use. According to our experience, in general, the small size of the giant Xenon advertising balloon requires at least 1-2kgf buoyancy to be used in the case of wind ≤ 1 and wind speed ≤ 2m / s (it can only be indoors) Environmental use). In the end, we will design and calculate the most suitable products and sizes for our customers, and give them reasonable prices.
In the project case, the customer requested to design a custom-made giant helium advertising balloon for indoor use based on the trademark documents provided, which will be used for indoor exhibitions. The customer wants the balloon size to be 2.5m or 3m. Due to the space limitations of the exhibition venue, the maximum size cannot exceed 3m.
From the picture we can see that it is a special style “airalo” trademark (alien trademark), perhaps the customer is also a professional, it is divided into two sides, one side has “airalo” trademark, the other side There are advertising slogans for “Follow me for free, Travel Data”. Through design, we can know the size of the giant helium advertising balloon and the buoyancy of the balloon, and even need to charge some cubic meters of helium and other important information. The indoor giant suffocating advertising balloon is required to take at least 1-2kgf buoyancy to lift off the air. At the same time, the balloon design must meet the customer’s aesthetic and size requirements. (see Attachment.)

In order to make the balloon full of helium, the designer will set the thickness to 2m. . By calculation, if the advertising balloon is made with high-quality PVC fabric with a thickness of 0.18mm, the net weight of the balloon plus the balloon attachment (inflating valve, rope buckle, rope) will reach 6.3Kg, and the entire balloon net volume. Only 6.72m3, and then calculate the net buoyancy coefficient of helium to get 7.49m3. In the end, the conversion of the entire sphere will have an additional buoyancy of 1.19kgf, and the customer will hang the LED lighting system in the helium balloon. The entire LED lighting system will weigh 0.7Kg, so its buoyancy is not enough. From the overall shape, Diagram A is particularly thick. When it is full of suffocation, the whole balloon will be bulged around, and the shape is not in line with our aesthetics.
On the Diagram B., you can see that the size of the giant helium advertising balloon is (W) 2.5x (H) 2.04x (D) 1.5m, its thickness is only 1.5m, although the appearance is good, but through calculation 0.18mm thick high-quality PVC fabric to make this advertising balloon, calculate the net weight of the balloon plus the balloon attachment (inflating valve, rope buckle, rope) will weigh 5.13Kg, and the entire balloon net volume is only 5.04m3, even Calculating the net buoyancy coefficient of helium is 5.61m3, and its extra buoyancy conversion is only 0.571.19kgf, which is completely unable to reach the buoyancy condition of the giant helium advertising balloon. It is even more impossible to complete the customer’s request to hang the light.
We must understand that under the absolute standard of 0 degrees Celsius, the density of air is 1.29kg/m3, and the density of helium is 0.1786kg/m3. According to the principle of Archimedes: F float = ρgV, the buoyancy is the density. Poor, the buoyancy of helium is about 1.114kg/m3.
Finally, after setting the balloon to (W)3x(H)2.45x(D)1.6m, the total weight of the entire balloon and balloon attachment will be 6.7Kg and the net volume of the balloon will reach 7.74m3. Calculating the net buoyancy coefficient of helium will reach 8.62m3, the entire sphere conversion will have an additional buoyancy of 1.922kgf, even if the weight of the LED lighting system is 0.7Kg, it has a buoyancy of 1.22 kgf, so there is no need to worry about whether it can float.
